  • Is the vision board class offered online and in person?
The vision board class is offered online and in-person to accommodate different preferences. Please email me if we need to coordinate an online event.
  • What supplies should I gather for the online class?
For the online class, you'll need a poster board, glue or tape, images, verses, or inspiring quotes. You also want some finger paint (important!) and a 2-inch roller or brush (optional) for that extra creative flair! (I have something special planned, so don’t forget the finger paint!) Tip - If some of your goals are based on around loved ones, consider incorporating photos of them!
  • I've RSVP'd but haven't paid yet. How can I make the payment?
To settle the $30, you have two options: PayPal at paypal.me/laureneklassen or cash. Your prompt payment helps cover the costs of supplies, the venue, and event insurance. I'm not aiming to make a profit from this event—it's my way of giving back to the community. I’m so excited about the pre-work resources, they are definitely worth the investment!
  • What do I need to bring for the in-person class?
For the in-person class, bring a sweater in case the room is chilly! I will bring: foam boards or poster boards for you to choose from, magazines, stickers, washi tape, glue and markers. I also have been given over 60 magazines for you to choose from! You should bring: personal images, verses, specific inspirational quotes/decals that inspire you. If you're a crafty person and want special supplies not listed above bring those too.
  • Can I opt for a digital vision board instead?
Absolutely! You're welcome to create a digital vision board if you prefer. Just keep in mind that you'll be responsible for bringing your own device to the class and finding your own images when assembling. Don’t worry, you'll have access to all the prework resources. Please let me know in advance if you’re planning to make a digital board so I can make sure to tailor some special instructions for you!
  • Where is the in person class located?
The in-person class will be held on January 20, 2024 from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.in the Black Box, Theater - Fretz Park Library, 6990 Belt Line Road, Dallas, TX
  • Is there still room for the in-person class?
The January 20th class is sold out. Please email me if you would like to be added to a wait list.
  • I'm not crafty, should I still come?
YES! Friend, I am not crafty at all and I'm teaching the class! Take the pressure off and have some fun. The point is to get visual reminders that align with your goal. I'd rather you make a meaningful board vs a beautiful board.
  • Do you believe in manifesting?
I believe in the neuroscience behind vision boards, hard-work, & a partnership with God to create a fulfilling life. This course emphasizes all three of these components.
  • How do you use a vision board?
I use my vision board as a prayer prompt and tool to remind me of my dreams. I find it helps me keep focused and inspires me to move forward. I estimate I actively engage with my board about 1 minute, 3-5 x a week.
  • Can I arrange an online or in-person class for a group?
Absolutely! I’d love to know a little more about your audience and what you’re looking for. Hosting this class for a book club, personal event, or at your church women's event is a great way to encourage community. Please feel free to email me at strengthandcouragecoach@gmail.com to collaborate.
  • I see that you are a certified life coach. If, after the vision board class, I decide I want to work on goals with you, would coaching be an option?
I'm open to exploring how I can assist you in achieving your goals and objectives. While I accept clients on a limited basis, we can schedule a coaching call after your class. Please note that my next window for accepting new clients begins on April 1. If you decide to book a collaboration call and opt for coaching, our coaching sessions would commence on April 1. I look forward to the possibility of working together!
