As we enter the Lenten season, I’m revisiting a devotional reflection on humility and the pace we keep. In the story of the Good Samaritan, busyness is not neutral. It can shape what we see and what we miss.

Every year, I choose a Northstar word to guide my growth. When I chose humility, I didn’t realize how deeply it would challenge me. Humility is not abstract. It requires confronting the gap between what we believe and how we behave. Sometimes the most important YES is the private one.
