This morning, I was reminded of God's love and sensed a prompting to encourage others that He hears your prayers. Here's a glimpse of my journal and the encouragement I sensed He had for you:
"Tell them I love them and that I know my children speak to me. Tell them I hear them and that I try desperately to show them my love, even in very practical and meaningful ways. I do that because I want them to know I hear them and that I have good gifts.
Sometimes my children catch my acts of love, and many times they don't. But I have so much more for them. Tell them that I desire to listen to their burdens. But I also desire to give them comfort and lift their burdens. Sometimes lifting a burden will happen with a touch—maybe someone will pray over or with them at church. My desire is to touch them personally, to be the person they call not only to vent but to receive wisdom. I want to speak to them.
Tell them that if they have faith to speak to me and believe I hear them, they can use that same faith to stop and let me speak back! I am not a mute God but a God who hears all their prayers, and I will converse with them if they let me."
