Last year, I had the opportunity to a ssistEmily and Nathan Blackmore by supporting Blackmore Missions through coaching. As someone who has a heart for missions myself, I had the privilege of walking alongside Emily during a season when she and her husband were discerning their yes to God’s call to Liverpool.
This Easter weekend, I’m especially excited to cheer Emily on as she and the team from Heart Liverpool host an art exhibit at their church.
Here’s what makes this even more meaningful.
During one of our coaching sessions, Emily shared, “This dream (art) needs to die.” Through the Freedom Framework™, I had the honor of facilitating a listening prayer session with her. In that space, she began to sense that God was not asking her to bury this gift, but to trust Him with it. Now, that same gift is being used in a way that is impacting others.

Just last weekend, she shared that her work toward this exhibit encouraged another woman, someone who had set aside her own artistic gifting, to begin creating again.
As a coach, I love seeing people move through past hurts and limiting beliefs. But even more, I love seeing what happens when they begin to walk freely and confidently in how they were created. It doesn’t stop with them. It impacts others.
This Easter, I’m grateful for Jesus’ resurrection,as well as the ways He continues to bring life to what once felt buried.
If you are walking through the death of a dream, loss, or disappointment, be encouraged. When you bring those places honestly before the Lord, you position yourself to receive His perspective and His redemption.
If you are in a season of loss, transition, or rethinking what God is doing, I would be honored to walk with you.
